AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty
AWS retired the Machine Learning - Specialty certification: the last day to take its exam was March 31, 2026, so it can no longer be earned. Holders keep an active certification for 3 years from the date they earned it and can keep sharing the Credly badge in that period; recertifying by retake was possible only until March 31, 2026. The exam covered building, training, tuning and deploying ML models on AWS, in 180 minutes with 65 questions. In its retirement FAQ, AWS points ML candidates to AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer - Associate. As shown in the United States on 3 October 2026, MLA-C01 remains in Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese, with an English MLA-C02 beta open.
