Who runs academies.ai

Jaafar Mourtada

Jaafar Mourtada, independent editor, Sultanate of Oman.

I founded academies.ai in August 2026 and run it myself. I built academies.ai for people who feel lost in the noise around AI and do not know what to learn or where to start.

Before academies.ai, and still alongside it, I have worked since Aug 2017 as a Freelance Designer & Creative Consultant: brand and icon systems, bilingual Arabic/English document production, and design automation, with AI-driven production workflows since 2022. Earlier I was IT Designer at CSL.Academy (Jul 2015 to Mar 2017) and Scarf Designer at Mortada Foulard (Apr 2008 to Jul 2015).

Records on this site are drafted and checked with AI tools and scripts, and I review what is published.

What the site is

Academies.ai is an independent directory and decision-support platform for professionals comparing artificial intelligence education. It is written for readers in the United States first: every price we publish is the US view, with the date it was shown.

How we check each program: How we check a program. What changed on the site, by day: update log.

How it is paid for

Academies.ai earns money in one way only: an affiliate commission when a reader enrolls through a partner link. Today that is 365 Data Science only, and every affiliate link is disclosed where it appears. There are no paid or sponsored placements, and a commission has no influence on what is listed, how it is assessed, or in what order.

What we do not do

We do not provide admissions, legal, immigration, employment, or financial advice. A listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee of outcomes. We avoid invented ratings, salary promises, and unverifiable outcomes.
