Claude Certified Developer - Foundations

Claude Certified Developer - Foundations (CCDV-F) is Anthropic's certification exam for engineers who build with the Claude API, Claude Code and the Model Context Protocol. It is open only to people at Claude Partner Network organizations. The exam has 53 multiple-choice and multiple-response items in 120 minutes across eight domains, led by Applications and Integration (33.1%), Model Selection and Optimization (16.8%) and Agents and Workflows (14.7%). A scaled score of 720 passes. Pearson VUE delivers it in English, online or at a test center; the credential is valid for 12 months. Its exam guide dates from July 2026. No hiring evidence exists yet. As shown in the United States on 7 October 2026, the exam fee is USD 125.

Before it expires it can be renewed free by passing an open-book, non-proctored online assessment on Anthropic Partner Academy, which extends it by another 12 months from the expiration date; a lapsed certification needs the full exam again at the full fee.
